I have previous nannying experience where I cared for a boy (2.5yrs) and a girl (1yr). I would arrive at the house early in the morning to make breakfast and get the kids ready for the day. We would spend the day together and have dinner before I went home for the evening. I loved this experience–the kids' favorite activities were pretending to be explorers in the backyard and building blanket forts together.
I also spent a semester in 2019 volunteering in a 6th grade classroom at Spokane Montessori Middle School. During this time, I worked with a small group of kids who needed some extra help with reading and writing.
