My background includes substitute teaching at two Montessori schools and assisting twelve families with date nights, overnight stays, travel, and backup childcare needs. At one point I worked for a family with twin two-year-olds and a six-year-old. In addition to serving as their nanny, I helped with household management and organization, errands, and general personal assistant duties. I also served as a mother's helper for a couple's newborn twin boys and toddler. Currently I assist four families very part-time and ad hoc with kids aged 7 weeks/1 year/2 years, 1 year/5 years, 1 year/6 years, and 2 years/4 years.
One summer I accepted an au pair position for a family in Turin, Italy. My main goal was helping the children (boy, 8, and girl, 10) improve their English skills through engaging in typical American games and reading activities.
I also held a full-time position for three girls under the age of 5, two of them being twins. I was their nanny and household manager.
