A little bit about me

My name is Elizabeth and I love working with kids of various ages I often babysat for family friends and local church events throughout high school. I have experience working at a summer camp with kids aged 7-17 and 2 years of experience as a preschool teacher at a development center. I engaged students ages 0-5 in activities to promote cognitive and motor development. During this time, I was also responsible for infant care such as bottle feeding, working with infants as they transition to solid foods, and engaging them in developmentally appropriate activities. I spent my sophomore year of college abroad in Chuuk, Micronesia as a kindergarten teacher. I had 23 students and was responsible for education, lesson planning, and classroom management. I have my CPR certification and just recently graduated from Mizzou with a degree in health sciences. I am an active individual and believe in the importance of engaging kids in activities that promote cognitive and motor development.
