A little bit about me

I grew up taking care of my siblings and often babysat and cared for kids around my neighborhood. At 16, I started training for First Aid and CPR for the benefit and safety of the kids I care for. As someone who never had much time to have a babysitter myself, I try to be the absolute best sitter and nanny I can be to give kids a memorable and trustworthy bond they deserve! I also find kids incredibly easy and rewarding to work with because of their neverending curiosity and energy; I could draw a story that a kiddo tells me, or even tell them stories myself as I draw them. My goal is to create a safe and positive environment to let kids feel at ease while their parents are out and to create meaningful bonds with both parents and children.

Painting, sketching, singing, interactive teaching (showing them how I do certain things such as cleaning something up or handling an easy task and allowing them to try as long as we both feel comfortable and know that it is 100% safe), storytelling, outdoor games such as tag, hide and seek, and waterslides, teaching the safety of exploration in the outdoors, and much more which mostly include valuable lessons of safety and empathy along with self-love, confidence, and awareness, helping with problem-solving and creating a positive and confident atmosphere through trust.

Teaching children the importance of work, relationships with oneself and others, allowing a child to teach themselves and you, and -undoubtedly the most important part- listening to children and teaching them how to listen to themselves.

After teaching a young girl the importance of self-acceptance and self-love to evolve a strong sense of mind, she asked me "is that why you're so strong?", truly took me back and made me appreciate all those little conversations so much more. Teaching a kid to love themselves can turn them into such kind and loving people, that interaction is one I hold so dear to me.
