A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and I am a 22 year old recent college graduate originally from Louisville, Kentucky. When I was little, I LOVED my babysitters. I thought the young girls who watched me were the kindest, most patient, and coolest people to ever walk the planet. Ever since then, I knew I wanted to embody those traits and the compassion they showed me as a young child. I always felt that there was this unmatched magic about being a child. These experiences in high school led me to pursue childhood education in my college years, and I spent every summer working with children in some capacity. I spent two summers as a full time nanny, one as a camp counselor, and the most recent summer as a trip leader for a teen outdoor adventure company. I believe that children can accomplish whatever they set their minds to when given the safe space and time to, the compassion and active listening to hear their thoughts and feelings, and encouragement to be brave.
