Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I frequently kid keep at a local church that requires the completion of a childcare course. I also babysit for a community group almost every week, which involves watching several kids from ages 8mo-5yrs. I also watch 4th graders during the late service at my church.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When watching smaller kids, I enjoy playing pretend, whether it’s the kids “cooking” or being a doctor. With the older kids I watch, I love playing games with them. The most popular game I play with the kids is night at the museum.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is ensuring that the kids have a physically and emotionally safe environment. I also want to give them space to learn and grow independently when it’s appropriate.

My experience with special needs children...

I have minimal experience with kids with autism, down syndrome, and medically complex kids, but I’m always willing to watch kids with any special needs and I’m always willing to learn.
