Along with years of working with medically fragile children in facility settings, one of my younger siblings in early childhood became disabled after suffering an unforseen series of seizures. He is now fully recovered but for many years our home played host to a slew of doctors, specialists, occupational, music, physical and respiratory therapists. My deep appreciation for the team I met in childhood has allowed me to persue my professional work with a passion.
