A little bit about me

Hello my name is Ellie. I have had several years of experience babysitting in middle school, high school, and some college. I am most comfortable with any age under 10, however I can be negotiated and I am always willing to set up a trial period to get to know your kids (at a discounted rate). My largest caretaking role was live in help for 4 month for my grandmother who has dementia. She needed attention and engagement 24/7. I handled day shifts and my grandfather handled night shifts. I was solely in charge of planning and executing her schedule while also cooking and cleaning for the house. I'm 23 now and have worn many working hats. I have worked as a camp counselor for three camps, and taught a kid's summer class twice. I also have volunteered with many organizations for people with neurodivergence/learning/physical/or intellectual disabilities such as shining hopes farms and HOPE durham. I am currently a volleyball coach for the Special Olympics.
