More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked as a part-time summer nanny, long-term babysitter, and recreation gymnastics coach, primarily with ages 2-10. I also worked in church childcare caring for infants and toddlers. Through coaching and private lessons, I’ve helped children build confidence, learn new skills, and develop discipline in a fun, supportive way.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love planning engaging, age-appropriate activities like outdoor play, stroller walks, reading time, sensory bins, simple crafts, and movement games. Prioritizing creativity and fun while building and maintaining routines for the little ones.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a calm, engaging environment where children feel safe, understood, and encouraged. Structure matters, but so does creativity and connection. I believe children thrive when they feel both supported and genuinely known.

My experience with special needs children...

I have some experience working with children on the autism spectrum through coaching and childcare settings. While my experience is still growing, I’m patient, observant, and committed to learning each child’s unique needs and communication style.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was coaching a young gymnast in private lessons who had been working hard to move up a level. The day she finally mastered all her skills, she was glowing. We celebrated with our usual end-of-practice stamp, and (with mom’s permission) an extra stamp of her choice on our left cheeks. Seeing her skills and (more importantly) confidence, grow was so beautiful!
