Hi, my name is Ellie. I enjoy working with children and have worked as a daycare aid, nanny, and babysitter. I have knowledge of Montessori schooling, and years of experience working with children from newborn to 8 years old. I love to cook, and would be happy to meal prep and make dishes. I can also teach your little ones how to bake and cook! Art and photography is another passion of mine, and can create art and crafts projects as well. I have a 2 year old puppy, and love animals, so they are never an issue. I have never received a speeding ticket (which is a tiny accomplishment of mine) and am a safe driver, so if you need driving to events, school, etc... I am comfortable with driving. I have previously worked as a Daycare Aid during a summer program with a Private School; Ave Maria Academy. I have babysat for multiple families over the years (from 12 years old to now) and was a nanny for a year

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy the outdoors, and love finding parks, trails, and beaches to explore. I also enjoy teaching kiddos how to bake and cook, because it teaches them real world experience while still being fun and rewarding (getting to enjoy what you cooked/bake). My previous nanny kids and I would go on "Target Trips" to get groceries for their family while still having fun and picking out a fun activity to bring home. I am a skilled hair braider, and have fun coming up with fun hairstyles and playing dress-up with the kids. Sports like basketball, soccer, and volleyball are also fun to teach kids how to play!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is letting the kids be kids. I believe they should be able to have fun and learn in a stress-free environment. Creating and having fun activities that they get to look forward too so that they aren't bored, and when they spend time with their family have exciting things to talk about and be proud of whether it's going to the park and conquering a fear of going down a new slide, or baking a cupcake. Letting them feel that their accomplishments whether big or small are accomplishments no matter what.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are watching the kids grow up. being able to be apart of their milestones, crawling, walking, talking, finding new hobbies, etc... It's such an amazing experience to watch them grow up and learn new words, finding new hobbies. going to the zoo and seeing all the different animals there are, what they find funny, etc..
