The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child is safe and feels safe. Comfort of the child or children should be top priority to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked at a daycare with special needs children where they needed one on one time to focus and feel safe. I think making sure a child with special needs is fully accustomed and comfortable is the top priority, as well as making sure the child is well taken care of and thriving. I also have babysat several relatives that are special needs, so I have experience working with and providing necessary care to them. I am familiar with multiple types of therapies, so I can assist in making sure your child stays on track.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My absolute favorite nanny moment is taking the kids on a little day trip and not telling them where the next stop would be! We went to get snow cones, stopped at the park, when to the pool, and then ended the day with karaoke and singing outside!
