A little bit about me

My name is Ellyssa Roberson and I moved to Dallas in July 2021. I am very passionate about working with children, and I have been the go to babysitter/nanny for many families. I study Social Work at Dallas College, and in my free time I intern at a homeless youth shelter in Fair Park. At home I was the oldest of 4, so I have always been around children and noisy homes. That being said it is difficult to overwhelm me and I am extremely patient. I enjoy using Montessori and Gentle Parenting ideals to navigate how I handle the children I take care of. I speak a little Spanish and have used minimal ASL with one of my prior babies. I’m excited to meet my next family! I love feeling like a part of the family as opposed to an employee.
