More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have gained hands-on experience caring for children in a variety of settings. I’ve worked at Primary Children’s Hospital, served as a home nanny for multiple families, volunteered in church nurseries and youth programs, and spent summers as a camp counselor for elementary-aged children. Ive also been a nanny for multiple families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning fun and engaging activities that support both creativity and development. For indoor days, I enjoy doing arts and crafts like painting, making DIY projects, or creating puppets for a homemade puppet show. I also love encouraging imaginative play through dress-up, role-playing games, or building blanket forts for indoor "camping" adventures. When it comes to learning through play, I incorporate story time, basic science experiments, puzzles, and baking simple recipes like cookies or muffins to help teach math and following directions in a fun way.
Outdoor time is just as important, so I often plan nature walks, scavenger hunts, water play, or trips to the park. We might set up obstacle courses, create sidewalk chalk art, or have a pretend picnic in the backyard. I also love celebrating the seasons—pumpkin painting in the fall, snow play and hot cocoa in the winter, flower pressing in the spring, and tie-dye shirts or lemonade stands in the summer.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and free to grow.
