For me, the most important part of being a nanny is the opportunity to be a steady, intentional anchor during a child’s most formative years. As someone with over 9 years of nurturing children, along with my Montessori Certification and 18 units of Child Development coursework, I don't just "watch" children; I actively partner with them as they navigate the world. By integrating my love for Disney and storytelling, I am able to meet children exactly where they are, using imagination as a bridge to help them reach their various developmental milestones. My favorite part of being a nanny is serving as a front-row witness to a child’s rapid development. There is nothing more rewarding than supporting the journey of language acquisition—watching a child transition from their first babbles to speaking in fluent, confident sentences. I am deeply passionate about early literacy and take great pride in helping children bridge the gap between sounds and symbols as they learn to read and write. Additionally, I love incorporating music as a multi-sensory developmental tool, using rhythm and song to enhance memory, coordination, and phonetic awareness. I find that my extensive knowledge of the Disney universe is a powerful tool for cognitive development; by engaging children with familiar characters and complex storylines, I help them strengthen their recall and memorization skills in a way that feels like play rather than a lesson.
