I worked in childcare for three years, but also babysit for a wonderful family from time to time. I watch all of my families and friends children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I like to do is make DIY sensory buckets or even slime/Play-Doh depending on the age, I’m big on art so painting, coloring, glue stick, and glitter are all fun. I like to interact with the children and play their toys that they already use, if we’re outside, I love to go on nature walks and find different flowers or plants for my daughter to observe, I’m big on playing outside and no screen time!! I have a huge imagination so the possibilities are limitless!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is ensuring the children are on a routine, has my full attention, loved and cared for , and is safe at all times. I have a daughter that I love more than anything and I couldn’t see myself going any less than above and beyond for, and that is the standard for your children as well! Children grow through love, and I bring nothing but love and positivity!
