Hi there! I’m looking to be a nanny for a fun and friendly family. I have previous experience as a nanny (ages 0-8yrs old) and currently am a teachers assistant at a Montessori school for ages 3-5. I was a nanny for my 2yr old niece and 7yr old nephew for about 2 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Art, walks, hide and seek, going to the pool, trips to the park, going out for ice cream, museums, picnics, educational activities (puzzles, musical instruments, etc)

Creating a positive environment where children feel heard, comfortable, happy, and free to be themselves. While simultaneously creating a scheduled/structured environment because children need consistency!

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caregiving to seniors with severe disabilities, so I am willing to care for children with disabilities as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Each day with my 1.5yr old niece, we would practice colors with her toy balls. I would hold up a ball and announce its color in a fun/playful way. I did that with each color (purple, red, yellow, blue, green). After about 2 weeks of doing this each day, she learned so fast and she named the color of each ball to me!
