"Emelia has looked after our toddler at various points over the last couple of years and also worked with me as a "mother's helper" of sorts, assisting with things like house cleaning and meals when needed. My daughter adores her! Emelia is super confident with kids of all ages (she started sitting for us when our daughter was only a few months old) and takes a real interest in each child she looks after. She plans fun activities to help keep our little one engaged and they always have a blast together. It can be hard to find childcare, but with Emelia I always know that our daughter is in great hands."

"Very wonderful with children. She is a creative and musical person and spent a lot of time singing and creating art projects. It was such a tremendous help to have Emelia take care of my children during the pandemic as I am a nurse and was unable to work from home. She kept my children on track with virtual school and made quarantine fun for them by keeping them active outside and engaged and safe indoors. And a bonus was coming home to cooked meals and a clean house. She is reliable, caring and loves children and I always felt safe knowing my children were in good hands."

I think the most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for the child. Encouraging the children through positive reinforcement and support to help them develop their self esteem and confidence. Encouraging their curiosity, creativity and independence in the supportive environment you created is also an important part of nannying.
