I was in a program called COOP when I was in high school. I assisted teachers with the children and taught some lessons as well. I have been a private nanny to a family for about a year now, it's been great. Working with children gives you another reason to get up in the morning, you have a little person waiting and depending on you.

Helping with homework or any school related tasks is always fun for me. Playing games, whether they're inside or outside. Being active or simply playing calmly somewhere. Reading, coloring, painting, any activity of that sort is always enjoyable.

Is probably always being there for the kid(s). Since their parents aren't home, doing my best to be there for them and maintain safety as well as help them with what I can is super important.
