A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Emely and I have over 3+ years of working with children. I used to work for an after school program as well as a summer camp where I worked with children ages 3-10 years old. In these programs we taught children the importance of sharing, using manners, and bring out the creative side to them! I was also a nanny for a 2 year old. I enjoyed being able to teach this two year old how to count, the abcs, arts and crafts, potty training and even a little bit of Spanish! I love working with children, because I get to be a part of many milestone in their life.

I enjoy going on walks with children, having them explore nature. I also like playing games outside such as soccer, tag, any physical activity that keeps the kids active.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is showing a child the basics. With basics I mean such as cleaning up after they are done playing, showing them manners, and showing the importance of kindness and sharing. I also believe that doing crafts/ artwork with the child will help bring out their creative side.
