In addition to frequent babysitting over the last 6 years, I have been a volunteer in my churches children’s ministry for 4 years! Having the opportunity to lead, teach and care for the children at my local church has been such a blessing and I am very thankful to be able to volunteer in this way.

I believe kids thrive when they’re encouraged to explore, imagine, and learn through play, so I focus on organic fun like arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading together, music, baking, imaginative games, and age-appropriate learning activities. Rather than relying on technology, I love finding simple, meaningful ways to make each day fun and enriching, whether that’s building forts, going on nature walks, doing puzzles, or turning everyday moments into learning opportunities.
I try my absolute best (unless specifically requested otherwise by the parents) to not resort to television or any technology as the form of entertainment used for the kids.
