A little bit about me

My philosophy with children is “children are human too”. I see a lot of people that think just because children do not have as much experience as we do, that they are lesser than us. I think with children of all ages patience is the biggest thing. I love including myself in anything the kids are doing. I think kids are very visual and hands on learners. When you make learning fun and relate it to something fun, like measuring with baking or using a visual like m&ms to help with addition it keeps the child focused and makes them want to keep going.
