Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have loads of creative ways to keep children busy and learning. Creating a book; Making a book can be a great way to get kids thinking creatively and to keep them entertained for a long time. Using sidewalk chalk, drawing a hopscotch game that kids have to complete or create unique designs using the various colors. Making up dances; For older kids, challenging them to create choreography for one of their favorite songs. Scavenger hunts; For example, give them a clue that says, "Look in a place that's very cold," and then hide the next clue in the fridge. Have a prize waiting in the location with the last clue. Baking is fun way to entertain children and to create something delicious. Making a gift for mom/dad or friends; Encouraging them to draw a picture, glue on special effects or cut fun shapes out of paper. Board games can be a fun activity for kids. Puzzles can also be a fun challenge for children. My favorite activity are seasonal crafts.
