I find that all of these activities stimulate a child's mind in an engaging way, and are healthier alternatives to computer games and TV.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is listening to the kids. Even non-verbal children and infants have ways that they communicate their needs, and as a nanny it is crucial to be able to adjust to properly care for each individual child. Ensuring a child is heard and feels emotionally safe is equally as necessary as ensuring they be fed.
