A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Emily! I’m 19 years old and move to Mesa this July! I absolutely adore kids and have worked with kids of all kinds! I am currently a CNA in Provo and have loved every minute of it! I also have experience with special needs kids and adults! I love music and fun and speak both English and Spanish! I recently got married in the Mesa temple to my loving husband and we have spent the last year living in Provo but are ready to come back to our hometown in Mesa Az! I also have grown up in a household where my parents have taken care of special needs adults all my life so I have a lot of experience with that as well and can do respite care! I was also in the sports medicine club at school and am OSHA certified and am first aid certified and know a thing or two on that! I want to eventually become a full time preschool teacher and have background working as a patio teacher at a Montessori school! Thank you for your time!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a preschool teacher at a Montessori Education Center! I work with kids 2-7 years old and worked here for two years. Worked with children and adults with disabilities ranging from autism to cancer.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing crafts and being outdoors! Nature walks are my thing and I am not afraid to get a little messy with the kids!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the child feels safe, seen, heard and loved. I am there to be their best friend and protecter.

My experience with special needs children...

I have grown up with special needs adults in my home since birth. I am also specially trained to be able to take care of them and have my Article 9 and CPR certifications! My latest job I worked with children with ranging disabilities. Each child had something different and it has been a beautiful experience getting to know them and learning how to navigate their needs.
