I volunteered at church and school all throughout my childhood, working mostly with autistic children and those with ADHD or behavioral challenges. I thrive at getting along with just about everybody, and that includes those without verbal speech!

I love using my love for teaching as a way to help kids grow! I love coming up with little experiments or sensory activities to promote problem solving and sensory integration.

I’ve cared for autistic children, those with Down syndrome, as well as medically complex children. I know from firsthand experience how terrifying it can be from both the child’s perspective, and the caregiver’s perspective, when something just isn’t quite working and there’s no words to describe it yet!
