More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have spent two summers working in the Phoenix valley as a camp counselor where I co-lead a group of about ten third grade girls. I spent about five months working at a Montessori based elementary school where I was a substitute teacher and after school care provider for kids primarily in first, second, and third grade. I currently work as a full-time lead preschool teacher where I oversee fourteen kids who are 2-3 years old!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activity to do with kids is probably just being outside and playing pretend! I love encouraging their imaginations and creativity! I also really love doing crafts and games!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The thing that matters most to be about being a nanny is the potential I have to make a long term impression on the child(ren) in my care. I have had babysitters that I still remember after all these years who either taught me something really valuable or created such a fun moment for me. I would love to foster those same moments for any child of mine.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never worked in a special needs specific care facility, however I did have a girl I worked with over the course of two months this last summer who was special needs, and I have a student in my preschool class who is special needs as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories with my kids was one day it was really hot outside, so I set up a sprinkler on our field and my kids and I just ran around outside, getting completely soaked. At one point we were all holding hands and skipping. I loved watching them be in total awe of the sprinkler and the laughter they had from getting their clothes all wet!

Hi there! I love kiddos! I really enjoy seeing the world through their eyes.
My mom ran an in-home childcare in our home while I was growing up. It was so much fun to be a part of that!
I am extremely passionate about art. Photography, drawing and painting are my favorite mediums but creating in general makes me very happy.
I also teach private swimming lessons. Ages 8 weeks up to adult. I have done this for 14 years. I myself was a competitive swimmer for 10 years.
I look forward to meeting you and being another set of hands and a big old heart to love on your kiddos!
