I am a longtime private music teacher and nanny with 10+ years of experience as a childcare provider, and I'm passionate about supporting families and helping children thrive.

I'm patient, calm, creative, and imaginative, and I love to see children gain confidence as they learn and explore new things. I believe in a holistic approach to childcare, focusing on each child's physical, emotional, and intellectual development. I like to play outdoor sports and physical games, as well as educational games and creative activities that help children express their imaginative side.

I'm comfortable caring for up to two children ages newborn to 11 (alongside my own infant son) and I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation. I follow the parents' lead in terms of enforcing household rules and will provide updates in whatever method parents prefer.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My work with children began with in-home babysitting and volunteering in church ministry through my middle and high school years. I went on to nanny for one specific family for 4 years straight continuing through my college years. During and after completing my degree, I worked as a youth director and assistant youth director in several different churches, overseeing large groups of students and planning regular programming, trips, and events. I have also taught private music lessons throughout the years to students ages 5 to 15. Most recently, I taught music at a local private school before having my son, when I decided to go back into nannying and teaching private music lessons full time. Throughout my years of experience in childcare and education, I have been able to safely foster the growth and development of hundreds of children spanning from a few months old to 18 years old. I enjoy helping children build confidence through play, planned activities, and educational experiences.
