A little bit about me

Hi, My name is Emily! I Have a B. A in sociology and looking to go back to get my masters in school counseling in a few years. I chose to do school counseling so I can work in a school setting helping kids and families in need. My passion is children and I love working with them. I have been babysitting since high school and have babysat for families with children on the autism spectrum. I have also volunteered in a home daycare center that has infants 3 months up to 4 years. After college I was a full-time nanny for a great family in Boston with an infant daughter. I also nannied for a toddler for 2 years before moving back to Boston last year. This school year I helped with before school care for a 9 year old boy. In addition to babysitting and nannying I was the site director of two after school programs at an elementary and middle school. I am also CPR & First aid certified!
