The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing is creating relationships with not only the parents, but the kids. Getting excited as I walk up to see them and knowing they are happy to see me too. Knowing that we have a level of trust and communication is key to a good nanny/babysitter.

I have done volunteering with special needs kids at school. I was also apart of the “Partner P.E.” Program at school (it helps give students that have special needs a chance to be involved in sports or exercise related activities) :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when one of the regular families I would watch was moving away and the little girl (Malory) ran up to me and said “please don’t leave, come with us” and that just made me realize why I love watching kids and creating true relationships with kids. This sense of warmth kids bring is the reason I love watching kids!
