A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Emily, and I am originally from the central Massachusetts. I work six months of the year as an outdoor education instructor for a company called Outward Bound. I take kids 12-18 on multi-week backpacking, climbing, and mountaineering trips.

I have 5 years of experience tutoring and teaching children 5 to 12 in an after school program, and 6+ years babysitting kids from 0 to 10. I also worked for an outdoor company for many years giving educational programs to children and adults.

I have extensive medical training from my job with Outdoor Bound. My certification is called a Wilderness First Responder, which includes First Aid, CPR, and much more. I also have a 4 year degree in Environmental Science.

I am planning to be in the Hermosa Beach area from early November 2025 to February 2026 and would love to work with a family during that time. I look forward to being in touch!
