Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a twos teacher for the past four years at an early childhood eduction center. Previous to that I worked three summers as a camp counselor for ages 5-120. I have also done part-time nannying/babysitting for long term families throughout the past 4 years. I have experience in full day at home care during school breaks. I manage meal prep, extracurricular planning, maintaining household cleanliness, and driving family car for activities for the kids and parents.

I am an art and nature lover at heart. I enjoy building (using toys or nature items), art projects (process and product), exploring at museums, parks and fun walks. I am very found of reading, library trips, and imaginative play.

Is the trusting relationship between the parents and I. I have a great admiration and appreciation for families that choose to entrust me with the care for their children and allow me the privilege in helping and watching their children blossom.
My experience with special needs children...
I am familiar and experienced with neurodivergent children and different calming/ redirection techniques, along with different accomodations for smooth transition and routine. I am familiar with medication administration for severe allergies and health differences. I am a middle child of two special need siblings (autism and brain damage) for I have spent most of my life learning to accomidate for others.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I moved away the two children of my long term family made me cards and gifts for my going away present. The family and I cried together when we said goodbye. I loved seeing in that moment how we had grown together, impacted each other, and deeply lived each other.
