More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've gotten to love on and care for a multitude of families with children ages 3 months - 10 years. I lead a toddler music class, and I’ve led plenty of newborn-kindergarten age classes I also have had experience with special needs individuals one-on-one. I love creating new & exciting ways to engage kids & love on them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy riding with the imagination & passions of the kids. If that’s outside, we can pretend to be finding new creatures within the jungle & rescue baby animals. We can hide gems within ice cubes & then have to mine for treasure. We can draw worlds in sidewalk chalk & explore parks too. If it’s inside, we can create scavenger hunts that lead us to act like spies or expert interviewers. We can color or read too! Whatever kids like, I like too:)
The most important part about being a nanny...
I hope I leave your children feeling like they’re loved, seen, & heard. Above anything, they’re human beings with desires & needs, & I hope I foster an environment where they feel they can talk to me about anything & that they feel completely accepted through it.
My experience with special needs children...
In High School, I was part of Special Olympics, and I babysat a sweet girl with special needs. We would create activities that would help with motor skills but were also engaging. I also volunteered at a special needs preschool.
