More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes nearly a decade of hands-on, heart-first involvement! I’ve been babysitting since I was 13, and now at 20, I’ve worked with children of all ages in a variety of roles. I was a teacher’s assistant at a Montessori preschool, where I primarily cared for infants—helping with feeding, diapering, and play-based learning.
I’ve also worked as a camp counselor for several summers, leading outdoor activities, games, and creative projects that kept kids active and engaged. On top of that, I’ve lifeguarded and taught swim lessons, helping children stay safe in the water while building their confidence and skills. Whether it’s supporting toddlers through daily routines or guiding a group of energetic campers, I bring patience, energy, and a genuine love for working with kids into every role.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children are all about sparking joy, creativity, and confidence while keeping things fun and age-appropriate. I love getting kids moving with outdoor play like nature walks, sidewalk chalk, scavenger hunts, or mini obstacle courses. Indoors, I enjoy doing crafts, building pillow forts, reading storybooks with fun voices, baking simple treats, and creating themed activity days (like dinosaur adventures or pajama party picnics!).
For younger children, I enjoy sensory play, tummy time, music and movement, and supporting developmental milestones through interactive activities. For school-age kids, I’m happy to help with homework, practice reading and math, or work on fun learning games that keep their brains engaged.
I always tailor activities to each child’s interests, energy levels, and developmental stage. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and exciting environment where kids feel seen, supported, and genuinely happy to be themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel truly seen, supported, and encouraged to grow into their best selves. It’s about building trust—not just with the child, but with the entire family. To me, that means showing up consistently with patience, positivity, and care, while respecting each child’s individuality and the values of their household.
Whether it’s helping with daily routines, guiding through big feelings, or celebrating the little wins, I believe being a nanny means being a steady, joyful presence in a child’s life—and someone parents can rely on wholeheartedly.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children is limited, but I’m very open, patient, and eager to learn how to best support each child’s unique needs. While I haven’t worked extensively in a specialized setting, I’ve cared for children of varying abilities in my roles as a babysitter, Montessori preschool assistant, and camp counselor. These experiences taught me the importance of clear communication, flexibility, and empathy.
As a nursing student working toward becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner, I’m committed to gaining more experience in inclusive care and learning from families and professionals. I’m always willing to follow specific routines, strategies, and care plans to provide the best possible support and ensure each child feels safe, understood, and valued.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has been watching children flourish into their own little people—confident, curious, and full of personality. One moment that really stuck with me was helping a shy preschooler I cared for come out of her shell over the summer. We spent time reading books together, doing art projects, and exploring outside. By the end of the summer, she was leading our storytime with silly voices, initiating play with new friends, and proudly showing off her drawings. Seeing that growth and knowing I played a small part in building her confidence was incredibly rewarding.
Moments like that remind me why I love this work so much—it's about more than just keeping kids safe and entertained; it’s about helping them feel seen, supported, and proud of who they are.
