I have volunteered as a tutor for children. I currently volunteer weekly going to an elementary school and teach anatomy to help kiddos get excited about it! I have ( nieces and nephews and have spent lots of time watching them. I have also taught violin and piano lessons to kiddos.

The most important part is being centered on the child. I am there to help him/her build their confidence, feel good about themselves, and at the end of the day, having learned something new in a fun and creative way. Someone who spends hours with a child on a regular basis has a big influence! The most important thing is influencing the child for good.

I have worked with a boy with autism. Mostly I would just play games with him for a couple of hours and help him feel awesome!
