Activities I enjoy doing with children...
- Often times I choose a series to start with the child/children that is developmentally appropriate and engaging. I have found this to be an effective way to help children begin to read, hone reading skills, and get them interested in literature!
- I love to do arts and crafts with kids!
- With access to vehicle I love taking children to the zoo, aquarium, local parks/beaches, and on age-appropriate walks and hikes!
-Games are always a blast, whether that be board and card games for older children (i.e avoiding choking hazards) or things like hide and seek/tag with younger children, games are where I see children find the most joy.
-Trying out different sports can be a fun activity to do with kids, especially when they have a specific interest/passion I can focus on with them.
-I enjoy incorporating music into my time nannying, especially when a little-one loves a specific artist. I find kids enjoy doing chores more when something like Taylor swift is playing in the background!
