I love arts and crafts! I am the activities coordinator for my mentoring club and plan all the crafts for our visits at Girls Place in Gainesville. I am also active and love to dance, play soccer, and make up fun creative games to keep kids on their feet!
My experience with special needs children...
In high school I babysat for a family with twin girls (5 yrs) and a boy (3yrs). One of the twins (Stella) had Aspergers and severe food allergies to dairy and gluten. I learned how to handle Stella’s diet as well as how to communicate effectively.
