A little bit about me

Hey, I’m Emma and I love working with children! I just finished a nanny job this past semester and am looking to find another position! I worked for two years at a daycare, working with children from infancy to the age of 5! I have also babysat for several families and I love taking care of children in home as well! I also work with middle-school children at a camp in the summer and I have so much fun with that age! I am a hard worker and my goal is always to make sure children are in a clean, safe, and happy environment:)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool for two years, and I was mainly in the infant and three year old classrooms:) I have also had many babysitting jobs throughout the years and just finished a nanny position as well. I also began my college career learning about child development, and I continue to learn about it in my social work classes, as that is my future degree:)

I love playing games, helping children learn at their developmental levels, and helping facilitate and warm and constructive environment for them:)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important aspect of being a nanny is being a kind, gentle person who can accomplish the tasks that the parents wish. I have had various babysitting/nannying jobs and I do my best to respect the wishes of the parents, and do my best by the children:)

My experience with special needs children...

During my time at the daycare, I worked with several children with Autism, as well as other children with disabilities. I am patient and love working with all children:)

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments from nannying are when I get to see growth in the children. I love seeing how they develop, the funny traits they grow to have, and I love being taught things by them too:)
