More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting creative and making everyday moments fun for kids. I’ve built blanket forts, turned the stairs into a pillow slide, and even made a backyard water slide with a hose and the playground. I’m always up for arts and crafts like painting or drawing, cooking together, or playing games like hide-and-seek or tag. I’m happy to join in on anything the kids want to do, and I bring full creativity to playtime — but I always make sure we clean up afterward. I also enjoy getting outside for walks, bike rides, trips to the park, or other adventures.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny isn’t just about making sure a child doesn’t run into the street or touch a hot stove — anyone can do that. It’s about caring for their emotional and mental safety too. A good nanny creates a calm, loving environment where kids feel completely safe, both in their home and in their hearts. When they know they’re understood and valued, they can relax, be themselves, and truly thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a lot of experience with children who have special needs. My parents are psychologists, so I grew up around those environments and learned early on how to be patient, understanding, and supportive. In school, I was often the one advocating for and standing up for kids with special needs, and that taught me how important it is to make sure they feel included and valued. I understand the extra attention and care they may need, and I genuinely love interacting with them and finding ways to help them thrive.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in New York, NY: Ana O.
My name is Ana, I’m 38 years old, and I’m a dedicated, experienced babysitter and nanny with a deep love for children and a genuine passion for nurturing their development.
Although I’ve chosen not to have children of my own, I cherish the opportunity to care for little ones as if they were family. I helped raise my three nieces from birth—supporting my sister, a single mom—and that experience ignited something in me. I realized how fulfilling it is to witness and support a child’s growth day by day.
Over the past two years, I’ve worked exclusively as a full-time babysitter and nanny for families with children of all ages, including newborns. I’m highly confident in newborn care (diapers, bottle-feeding, sterilization, sleep routines), toddler activities, and structured learning through play. I practice patience, respect, and a calm, centered approach, especially when following gentle parenting techniques.
What I’m really hoping for is to find the right family—not just a job.
