Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have three adorable nephews I've been babysitting since they could walk ranging from age 2-11! I also have two years of nanny experience with an elementary-age child. I most recently worked with special needs children in a school environment ranging from ages 4-9.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite thing to do with children is anything involving arts and crafts such as bracelet making, painting, drawing, making our own slime, coloring, chalk, and so much more! I also enjoy playing outdoors with the children I care for: going on walks, swinging, hopscotch, trampoline, ect. On lowkey days spent inside I usually find fun songs to sing and dance along with, fun movies to watch, boardgames, ect.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children goes back to middle school, at 11 years old I began tutoring special needs students at my school and did this all throughout middle school. After graduating high school, I worked with adults with developmental disabilities for 2 years. My current position is in a self-contained classroom with children ranging from ages 4-9, this is my second school year doing this & I love it!

I am a mom of a 16 year old girl and have been an educator for over 20 years. Now that my own daughter can drive, I am looking to transition to some nanny work for a family. I prefer part time with no weekends as I still travel with my daughter for weekend dance competitions and college tours. I love kids of all ages and would be open to light housekeeping as well. I have had to take CPR for work at school each year, but have not attended a CPR certification course outside of that. I am open to getting this certification. I am not a fan of larger amounts of electronics time for kids, I am old school that way—I prefer reading, games, activities, but am open and respectful of your personal family preferences. I prefer Monday-Thursday work, but am open to discussion for different hours.
