Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked as a camp councelor for a few different summer camps for the past 4 summers, I lifeguard when I can, I used to babysit for a bunch of different families before I went to college, I always used to play with the neighborhood kids and watch them during the day, and I used to help out in the nursery/daycare at a couple different churches.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing outside or going to the park. During the summer I enjoy playing fun water games or getting ice cream. I also enjoy playing games inside or putting on a movie to relax a little bit.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel like a very important part about being a nanny is being able to be friends with the kids. We have to be able to have fun and goof off together while still being responsible and safe.
My experience with special needs children...
I have minimal experience with special needs kids. I used to babysit for a family that had 3 boys, one with special needs, but they had a another babysitter that would come to take care of him. Every once in a while we would all hang out and do stuff all together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I used to babysit for this one family that had two boys, one was 2 and the other was 4, one time it was really hot outside so we went out to their little pond and the boys were just splashing around having fun and laughing their little hearts out. They kept splashing me with water and trying push and pull me into the muddy water. After that I had them dry off outside and brought them a snack to keep the energy up.
