I have worked for a local church and provided child care during services. I also volunteer at Sarasota Memorial Hospital every week and often encounter children/families while assisting them to a patient room or any other location.

art/crafts, baking/cooking, creative playing, tutoring/homework, outdoor activities (when weather allows), occasional movie night, board/card games, certain video games that are family friendly and include everyone (ex. mario cart).

I love connecting with kids and being another safe person in their life. Growing up with people that are “your people” is so important and I want every kid to feel like they have a whole army of people that love and support them.

I have cared for children with ADHD, Type 1 Diabetes, and Williams Syndrome. I have a medical background and am willing to care for children with special/medical needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have done a pool day with some kiddos on a summer day which was loads of fun!! I have also done themed movie nights, where the kids and I made dinner/snacks that went along with the theme of the movie! One night we made sea shell shaped sugar cookies and had blue raspberry lemonade while watching the little mermaid!! Another special day was when I helped some kiddos make valentine’s day cards for their class!! We attached a stick of bubbles and stickers, they were so excited to pass them out. I also love catering the activities to the kids interests! You like cinderella? Let’s make paper crowns just like hers! You like cars? Let’s build a race track around the living room!!
