A little bit about me

I am a junior special education major and I love all people! It would be amazing to have the opportunity to help families of any kind. I am 21 years old and have 5 years of experience. I also know a lot about child development because that is my choice of study! I worked at Annapolis Area Christian School's summer program for four years. During that time I had the opportunity to be a counselor for different groups ages 3-7. This past summer I was a Drama teacher for the camp. I held 12 30minute lessons for kids ages 5-14 daily. On top of that, I also have a lot of knowledge about and experience with those who have special needs. I have had two practicum experiences in public school special education settings. I worked with children in grades k5-2nd grade and 9th-12th. I also care for an 11-year-old girl who has cerebral palsy, I tutored two different high schoolers one boy with ADHD and a girl with autism. I also love to work with the elderly.
