A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Emma Joy. I’m 19 years old. I just got back from a year studying abroad in Belgium where I learned French. I’ve been caring for children in various capacities since I was around 11 years old. As soon as I was old enough, I became Safe Sitter certified. For several years, I was a peer counselor at the Maple Leaf Camp (for children with emotional and behavioral challenges). I can provide references for the babysitting work I’ve done throughout the years, as well. I’m also willing to update my CPR and first aid certifications. I have always had a natural way with children, and I’m comfortable with both indoor and outdoor activities. I find lots of ways to keep kid engaged without screens! I’m willing to do light housework and simple meal prep. Looking forward to working with you!
