Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been babysitting since I was about 8 years old. I started my paid experience with toddlers and very young children. Once I reached about 12, I started watching infants. I have had prior experience as a nanny. The biggest job I had was during covid with a 6 month old and 4 year old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in a variety of fun and enriching activities. Some of my favorites include hands-on science experiments that spark curiosity, creative arts and crafts projects, and active outdoor games that get everyone moving. I also enjoy playing mental and learning games that encourage problem-solving and imagination. For little ones under 2, I focus on age-appropriate activities like sensory play, reading, singing, and developmental games that help them explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing way. I find that mixing educational activities with play keeps kids excited, challenged, and having fun while they learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I had to say goodbye to a family I worked with before leaving for college. I cared for their 6-month-old baby girl and 4-year-old boy, and over time we built such a strong connection. I got to watch them grow, hit milestones, and develop their own little personalities. Saying goodbye was bittersweet, but it reminded me how special it is to be part of a child’s life and to know that the care, love, and memories we shared will always stay with them — and with me.
