My experience with special needs children...
I grew up raising my Down syndrome brother for a few years until we were adopted separate (he got an AMAZING family) and I nannied a boy with cerebral palsy. I also volunteered helping out the special needs rooms in high school. The special needs have always held a special place in my heart.
