A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Emma, and I would love to be your little one’s new best friend! Throughout my teenage years I had various babysitting jobs for children ranging from 6 months - 5 years old. After briefly stepping away from childcare, I’ve realized that nothing is quite as fulfilling as working with children!
I’m an avid reader, so story time is a highlight of my day - I love helping kids find books that show them how much fun reading can be! I also love baking, and feel like there’s no better rainy day activity than making some cupcakes!
When I was a kid it was hard to keep me inside during the summer. I have a love of the outdoors to this day, and I love going on adventures and seeing the world through the eyes of your littles!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have loved kids since I was a kid myself! My most consistent part-time nannying job was over the course of almost 3 years, for a family with two young children. When I started, the little boy was 7 months old, and the little girl was 3 years old. I loved getting to be such a big part of their toddler years!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love reading, baking, doing art projects, and getting outside. I try to regularly plan fun outings and projects so that the kids look forward to hanging out with me for the day!

The most important part about being a nanny...

How can I pick just one thing?! First and foremost, I believe it’s my job to help your kids feel safe and loved. To accomplish that, I think good communication between nanny and parents is crucial. But a big part of my job is also making sure your littles have fun! And maybe even try something new.
