Childcare has been the focus of my career and I am honored to be trusted with the magical work of guiding these first-time humans! I have worked with kids in various positions over the years and have found that each has a special way of connecting you: As a field guide, the focus is on fun and exploration. As a teacher, it's learning vital interpersonal skills and collaboration through friendship. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am big on getting kiddos into the outdoors! There are endless play and learning opportunities here in the desert. I even taught the 4 year old in my last nanny family how to ski! I love creating art, biking, cooking, legos, playing learning games, reading, having DANCE PARTIES, and other silliness! All this to say, whatever your kids are into, I'm into (the exception being little to no screen time when I am caring for children). I am also the playdate queen and am happy to coordinate time/meetups with all your kids favorite friends.

My experience with special needs children...

I was the main support for a child in a kindergarten setting who showed ADHD behaviors coupled with verbal and physical aggravation towards other students and teachers. Over the course of the school year, we implemented various techniques to aid him in integrating into the classroom, finding that the most successful were establishing a separate morning routine before joining others and shifting some classroom guidelines to create stronger boundaries around safe play that we all adhered to as a class. I am pleased to say that we saw immense progress through the year and would like to acknowledge that the support provided by co-teachers and his parents was invaluable.
