Is making sure the kid(s) feel loved and safe. I always make sure to form a bond with the kids I watch to make sure that they know that I really do love them and WANT to be there playing with them!

I worked one on one for 4 years with children on the autism spectrum. I also have a cousin that has down syndrome who I love to pieces. I've babysat many kids with special needs over the years.
