I've been babysitting for the past 8 years, and I absolutely love spending time with children of all ages! I love anything to do the with arts and encourage doing arts and crafts with kids. Another huge hobby of mine is cooking, and would love to help out with dinner or teaching your kids beginner meals. I’ve been lucky enough to be a nanny for a family who have a 2 and 3 year old for the past two years, but unfortunately they’re moving out of the country at the end of June. I loved seeing how excited the kids got when I entered the room, and I’m excited to create an environment like that again.

In [phone number hidden] I was a summer camp counselor working with 2nd to 4th graders creating Lego stop-motion movies. I helped each kid individually develop a movie while still letting them have the lead in making their own short film, and they all loved the results. I also led groups of children safely through variety of camp activities as well as helped plan and organize weekly indoor and outdoor activities.

It’s honestly very hard to choose one specific moment, but something that I really cherish was when the 4 year old I had been nannying for the past two years invited me to his birthday party. It brought me so much joy that he truly viewed me as one of his close friends enough to want me to be there for his party. And of course I went:)
