A little bit about me

I have worked for the past 10 years with kids ages (2-18 years) and have loved every second of it!
I have worked as a special education paraprofessional, PE teacher, substitute, nanny, After-School and Summer-Camp Director, Community Coach for teens with autism, and a Groups Teacher teaching Math, Reading, and Spelling for elementary kids.
I have a very outgoing, fun personality and love to laugh! I am a very creative person who likes to keep busy with art, music, and writing. I love playing with kids who are into sports, hiking, or other physical activities (hence why PE teaching was one of my favorite jobs!) I strive to focus on teaching communication to kids when they're having tantrums, or emotional distress. I don't shout, I don't punish, I love giving a safe space for the kids I work with using empathy and compassion. I have found that this usually works and it creates a more nurturing environment and a better bonding between me and the kid.
